About Egypt

Egypt, a country linking northeast Africa with the Middle East, dates to the time of the pharaohs. Millennia-old monuments sit along the fertile Nile River Valley, including Giza's colossal Pyramids and Great Sphinx as well as Luxor's hieroglyph-lined Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings tombs. The capital, Cairo, is home to Ottoman landmarks like Muhammad Ali Mosque and the Egyptian Museum, a trove of antiquities.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 01

   - Arrival at Cairo International Airport, greeted by our representative who will assist the group through immigration and customs formalities.
   - Transfer to your hotel in Cairo to check-in.
   - Evening optional tour (Sound and Light show at the Pyramids).
   - Overnight in Cairo.

2. Day 02

   - Guided tour to visit the pyramids and the Sphinx.
   - Then visit the perfume factory and the papyrus fair to know how the ancient Egyptian people made the papyrus.
   - Continue your visit to Saqqara, the first pyramid in history (2700 B.C).
   - Visit the pyramid of king Unas from inside then visit the unique tomb of Kagemni.
   - Then visit Memphis, the oldest capital for Egypt after the unification (3200 B.C).
   - Overnight in Cairo.

3. Day 03

   - Guided tour to visit the Egyptian Museum at Tahrir to see the golden collection of King Tutankhamun and the treasure of King Psusennes.
   - Continue your visit to the Citadel of Mohamed Ali and the Alabaster Mosque.
   - Then Visit Khan Al-Khalili Market.
   - After visits free time (own arrangement), until transfer to Cairo station to board the sleeper train to Aswan.
   - Dinner and overnight on board. The train departs Cairo at 20:00 and arrives Aswan at 08:15 the next day.

4. Day 04

   - Arrival at Aswan airport, greeted by our guide.
   - Visit the Philae Temple, the High Dam, and the unfinished Obelisk.
   - After visits transfer to your Nile cruise for check-in.
   - 12:30 Lunch on Board.
   - 19:30 Dinner
   - Overnight in Aswan

5. Day 05

   - Optional Early morning with breakfast box, at fixed convoy time at 04:00 am, transfer by A/C vehicle to visit Abu Simbel Temple.
   - 13:00 Lunch
   - 13:00 Sail to Kom Ombo
   - 16:30 Tea Time (on Sundeck)
   - 17:00 Visit Kom Ombo Temple
   - 18:30 Sail to Edfu.
   - 19:00 Cocktail Party (in the Bar)
   - 19:30 Dinner
   - 21:00 Galabya Party (in the Bar)
   - Overnight in Edfu.

6. Day 06

   - 06:30 Breakfast
   - 07:30 Visit Edfu Temple
   - 10:00 Sail to Luxor via Esna
   - 13:00 Lunch
   - 16:30 Tea Time (on Sundeck)
   - 19:30 Dinner
   - 21:30 Belly Dance & Dervish Show (in the Bar)
   - Overnight in Luxor

7. Day 07

   - Optional Hot Air Balloon.
   - Checkout after breakfast.
   - Visit Valley of Kings, Deir El Madina, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, and Colossi of Memnon.
   - Then visit Karnak Temple.
   - Evening transfer to Luxor station to board the sleeper train to Cairo.
   - Dinner and overnight on board. Train departs Luxor at 21:30 and arrives Cairo at 6:45 a.m. the next day.

8. Day 08

   - Arrive in Cairo, meet our representative.
   - Optional tour to visit Saqqara and Memphis.
   - Transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
